UPSC NDA Result 2017
UPSC NDA Result 2017 is announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at www.upsc.gov.in. First, the NDA 1 2017 result of written test is declared on June 2017. Then qualifiers of the written test are called for Service Selection Board. After that final NDA Result 2017 is declared. NDA exam result can be viewed online through the official website of UPSC. The result is announced in two stages, first is the result of written test which contains the roll number of candidates who are shortlisted for the SSB round. The second or NDA final result is announced after the SSB interview.
NDA 2017 result will mention roll numbers of only those candidates who qualify in the written examination. The NDA result 2017 will be available in the form of a PDF file only. After the result of written exam of the NDA I is announced, the Service Selection Board will be conducting an interview for the qualified candidates to analyze their intelligence and personality. This test will be conducted twice in a year, in the month of April as well as September.

National Defense Academy was established on 7 December 1954. NDA contains three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force. Applicants on NDA are selected via a written examination, conducted by the UPSC. NDA & NA exam is conducted in April and September months every year. NDA 1 exam 2017 will be conducted successfully on 23rd April & NDA 2 exam 2017 will be conducted on the 10th of September.

NDA 1 2017 Cut Off Marks
After passing the exam, UPSC announces the result of the NDA for the written exam. Usually, the result will be released after a month of consideration. It is expected that the result of UPSC NDA in 2017 NES (I) and NES will be declared in May and October 2017 (II), respectively. Qualified candidates will appear before the Selection Service (SSB) for the final selection. Candidates must obtain cut off marks to qualify. The NDA cut off for NDA and NA 2017 is determined by UPSC.

Marking Scheme of NDA 2017
- The written examination of NDA 2017 was conducted for a total of 900 marks for objective type questions.
- There were two test papers – Paper I Mathematics for 300 marks and Paper II General Ability Test (GAT) for a total of 600 marks.
- For wrong answers, one-third of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted for each incorrect response.
- If more than one option is marked by candidates, then it will be considered as wrong and negative marking will be done.
- Also, no negative marking will be done in the case of questions not attempted.
